  • I need to lose 80 pounds. I'm trying to cut down on carbs, because they're my downfall. I've also increased my activity level (walks with the kids, playing chase at the park instead of just watching, etc) and increased the amount of veggies I eat. I've started making sure half of my dinner plate is covered by vegetables. It's a slow start, but it's a start. My husband and I are going to join Weight Watchers, so this would be a great help!
  • I need to lose 150 pounds. I'm trying to eat more healthy. I have started to bring more veggies an fruits to our meals. l am planning out healthy snacks ahead of time.  Finding lower-fat food to eat. I am going to stop drinking my calories an drink lots more of water. I am reading more about weight loss. I also have started to walk a lot more then i did an even have a pedometer so i can work towards 5 miles a day an 10,000 steps a day. I am using the points  from weight watchers to help me with the food choices. I am determined to make this happen i want my life back so i will better my health an to enjoy life alot better.
  • I need to lose 80 pounds. I am a WW lifetime member who quit following the program and gained all my weight back Frown I know that WW works (i lost on a previous program). I am going to follow the new WW Points Plus diet and excercise 30 minutes 5 days a week. The prizes would sure be nice to help me get started on my new journey!
  • Hello!  I need to lose 35 pounds to get me back to my weight of March 2012, I would like to lose an additional 20 pounds for a grand total of 55 pounds!  In the year of 2011 I went from 240lbs to 175lbs by changing my lifestyle and habits.  I added gym (aerobics classes, group personal training, some weight lifting) and started counting calories (holy cow- it was eye opening!).  Over the course of 2012 I stopped going to the gym as frequently and stopped counting calories.  I maintained my weight loss for 6 months, but then stopped being so smart and gained 35 pounds in the past 6 months.
Enough rambling.  My plan is to lose 55 pounds by counting calories and exercising five nights a week.  So, by either using sparkpeople (to track calories) or ww (to track points) and going to aerobics classes 3 nights a week and running two other nights per week.  I've tasted success, so I'm looking forward to meeting my high school weight in the year of 2013.  Smile  Congrats on 1,000 Likes!!!
  • I need to lose 130 more pounds. I had lost 77 pounds but in the past year I have gained back 30 of those pounds. I need to get recommitted to ww by tracking everything, cooking healthy recipes and start doing Zumba again. I was most successful when I did all three of those things.
  • they are back to scales again? eww. I thought that stopped in the '90s.
  • LOL Raffi!! I love my scale. Totally helps to keep portions in check!
  • Hi! I liked your video! And I personally am fine with my weight where it is. But my husband would like to lose 30 pounds. I personally maintain where I am through running 5k 3 times a week and strength training 4x a week. I also try not to snack too much. My husband though does a mix of cardio, which includes walking, sprinting, elliptical, and he lifts HEAVY with the weights. Massive arms and legs, that man. He wants to do a body building competition in June or July!

Hello! I guess depending on who you ask I need to lose 100 more pounds. I have already lost 20. I was aiming for 80 total. I'm currently training (with a professional group) to run my fist 1/2 marathon in May. Its more like jogging but I'm out there doing it. So, with that I jog 5 days a week.  I've been trying to fit in strength training one day a week but I know I need to do more.  My husband and I also joined weight watchers.  I wish I could just see the numbers FLY off but its slow and steady. Its so hard to keep a straight heart/head about that.
  • I used the old scale (90's style- oh, yeah!) in my previous recording of calories (all of 2011).  I'm a science geek, so I loved guessing the weight of meat or veggies that I would put in a serving.  My boyfriend and I made it a game- I'm better at guessing size, but he's better at overall calorie count!  It was definitely eye opening, and I found recording in weight more accurate than volume.  Happy New Year!
  • I need to lose 80 pounds. I have signed up for weight watchers online and a running clinic to help me do it.
  • Hello! I need to lose about 40 more pounds, down 60 already. I follow WW online. I also just started doing Insanity. I'm planning on losing it by doing that as well as Bikram Yoga and other DVDs, such as Jillian Michaels, Biggest Loser, Walk Away The Pounds, etc. More activity and better food choices. I'm a mommy so I try to be very careful as to what I feed my daughter and how active we are. I refuse to go to fast food restaurants and always try to choose as healthy as possible. I would LOVE the cookbooks, as I am ALWAYS trying to find new healthy recipes to serve my family. We are on tour (currently in London, for another month, then off to Spain) and it's always difficult in new countries to figure that all out, so I will gladly welcome any tools that make that easier. And the scale will definitely come in handy! I actually travel a scale - in Japanese! Smile I would love to win this contest. Every day it's a struggle and any tools that assist in that end goal would be a blessing to have. Thank you!
  • What a great giveaway, Jenny!

I need to lose 90 to 100 pounds to be considered a healthy weight for my height.  I've lost 15 pounds so far with a running class, and trying to run/exercise at least 3 times a week.

I've started tracking my food with a free app, and am striving to add 1 to 2 group exercise classes to the running I'm already doing.  I'm on the fence on joining WW again, I know it works, but $ is tight around here...so winning this could be the tipping point for me! ;)

  • you are a great inspiration. I need to loose more than 200 lbs.
  • I need to lose 28 pounds.   I am currently breastfeeding my 18 month old, but am now focusing on my health now that he is getting older.  I am currently tracking my foods and exercise on a free app.  I am planning on increasing my exercise by walking at night once I get home from the office.  I am currently down 3 pounds since January 1st and hope that the year brings a new change!

I previously used WW and loved the e-tools.  I am a little intimated by the new points system, which is why I haven't rejoined, but I might in the future. (hopefully I win this!!)

Thanks Jenny, I followed your weight loss journey since day one and I am so proud of you.  When I have a rough day, I remember where you started!
  • Becky, what's your plan for losing the weight?

  • Hi Jenny!
I liked your video on YouTube Smile
I started my journey on February 7, 2012, when I joined Weight Watchers. I have lost 43 pounds so far and need to lose another 66 to be at my goal weight.
I am going to do this through a variety of ways:
    1) Continue going to WW meetings - I have not missed a weigh-in yet and I don't plan to. Accountability is KEY for me.
    2) TRACK EVERYTHING - if it goes in my mouth, it goes in my tracker. Period.
    3) Workout EVERY day - I know that you are supposed to have a rest day, but in the past, my rest DAY has turned into DAYS and WEEKS, etc. so my "rest day" will just be a leisurely workout day (low intensity).
    4) Continue blogging on my facebook page - I started a facebook page to track my journey and it has been another great source of accountability.

Thanks for the contest and for sharing your journey! Smile
  • Happy New Year Jenny! Great job with what you are doing for all of us.
I really need to lose 100 pounds. I have been overweight most of my life and I am seeing the toll it is taking on my body and my health. I have decided that I can and I will do it. I am often overwhelmed by all the information out there, but I have put my faith and belief into Weight Watchers. I have just joined so I am still finding my way, but I plan to eat better, watch my portions, move to eating more veggies and really learn a proper diet. I know that a balanced eating plan is the way to go, because no matter how hard I work in the gym, I will not succeed if I don't change my eating. I do plan to exercise at least 5 days a week for an hour a day. Cardio and strength training (eventually) I need to get some weight off first and then I'll focus on toning. I just joined the gym as well and I am eager to get started on my journey. I know it's a long road, but I like to see small goals, so that 100 pounds, can be thought of about 2.5 pounds a week. That's much more manageable in my eyes. I know I can do it, and I thank you for all the motivation!
  • Congratulations on 1,000 fans!! You're such an inspiration to me. Thanks for the giveaway!!
My first goal is to lose 59lbs. That will put me in the overweight category for my BMI. My doctor suggested South Beach. I plan on combining that with WW and joining a gym this year to get this weight off once and for all!
  • I need to lose around 200 pounds.  I plan on doing it by doing weight watchers. I am going to a meeting on Thursday at noon. I also plan on slowly incorporating exercise. I will be lifting weights 2 days a week and walking as far as I am able to which is about a block right now. I will be walking 4 days´╗┐ a week. My journey is long but I know I can do this if I take small steps and set small goals. My first goal is to get to my 5 percent weight loss mark.
