Jagger the T-Rex Switch & Go Dino

by jennifer1. October 2013 20:21

The kids (mainly Ronin and Haley) were thrilled to review some of VTech's Switch & Go Dinos. Opening the box was like Christmas...these are some seriously cool toys. We received one huge Dino, Jagger the T-Rex, as well as 3 smaller Dinos: Akuna the Velociraptor, Quiver the Stygimoloch, and Torr the Therizinosaurus. The VTech product, information, and additional gift pack have been provided by VTech.   All opinions are my own.

The box arrived right when I had come home from the gym and I needed a shower badly! I opened the large packing box, saw what was inside, and went to the shower. I was surprised when I got out of the shower that the kids had taken out all the packing materials and attempted to get Jagger working without me. Undecided Happy that they were excited, annoyed that they had created such a mess, and in the process managed to break one of Jagger's legs. Yell

I was in the shower for less than 10 minutes. Thankfully, an email to the company with my sincere apology that the toy would not be left unattended garnered us a return shipping label to send the broken one back, and they sent us out a new one!

Using the command list provided we attempted to get Jagger to follow our simple voice directions. You can see from the video that we weren't that successful. Jagger seemed to have a mind of its own. Backwards, forwards, frustrated kids. But overall they really did enjoy playing with it, and they continue to play with it. They prefer the big Jagger over the smaller Switch & Go Dinos. I think the smaller ones are an especially nice size for travel and they are a good price point for birthday party gifts (suggested MSRP on some is only $12.99).

Jagger is a BIG toy and takes up quite a bit of space in Ronin's room, but the kids enjoy playing with it and trying to see who will get Jagger to move using the commands! It's quite entertaining to watch. But what is most entertaining is watching my dog with Jagger. Matthew is freaked out by the talking, walking green toy and when the kids command Jagger to walk, Matthew runs and hides! Sweet puppy.
The evolving line, now featuring more than 15 Switch & Go Dinos, includes:

·         Jagger the T-Rex™
o   Jagger the T-Rex transforms from a construction crane to a Tyrannosaurus Rex in just a few simple steps. Combined with voice recognition technology, Jagger is one of the coolest Switch & Go Dinos yet! Jagger even recognizes and responds to specific voice commands. Say “Roar with me,” and hear him roar with his voice-activated motorized jaw.

·         Blister the Velociraptor™
o   Blister the Velociraptor transforms from a helicopter to a Velociraptor!

·         SkySlicer the Allosaurus™
o   SkySlicer the Allosaurus transforms from a jet plane into an Allosaurus!

·         MC Roar the Giganotosaurus™
o   MC Roar the Giganotosaurus transforms from a vehicle to a Giganotosaurus!

·         Stompsalot the Amargasaurus™
o   Sir Stompsalot transforms from a classic hot rod to an Amargasaurus!

·         Quiver the Stygimoloch™
o   Blink and you just might miss him! Quiver transforms from a super speedy race car to a Stygimoloch!

·         Torr the Therizinosaurus™
o   Transform from a rugged, off-road vehicle into a Therizinosaurus™!

·         Akuna the Velociraptor

I'll wait while your recover from your fainting episode because it is going to get better. Modern under floor heating systems are either electric or warm water systems. Knowing how the contractors worked with their previous customer can help your decision on whom to pick on the bidding.
